'Very Handsome': Fans Flock To Social Media As BCCI Announces 58 Crore For Champions Trophy Winning Team India

The Indian Cricket team have been dominating world cricket over the past few years but were failing to convert this domination into ICC trophies. This has changed as in just a span of ten months, India has won the ICC T20 World Cup and ICC Champions Trophy. What is even more mind boggling is that India won both of these tournaments undefeated. 

The Rohit Sharma led Indian contingent which played all of it's Champions Trophy matches in Dubai faced off against several opponents such as Australia, Pakistan and New Zealand and ended up defeating all of them. India had played New Zealand in the final of the tournament and had defeated the Kiwis by 4 wickets. 

BCCI Announce Massive Prize Money For CT 2025 Winning Contingent 

The BCCI recently announced a massive cash prize of Rs. 58 crores for all of the members of the Indian contingent that won the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The mind boggling cash prize is much higher than the prize money that was set for winning the tournament. 

"The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is delighted to announce a cash reward of INR 58 Crore for Team India following their triumph at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This financial recognition honors the players, coaching and support staff and members of the Men’s Selection Committee," the BCCI said in a statement as they announced the massive cash prize for the contingent.
