'I felt alive again': Rohit Sharma describes his feelings after India won the T20 World Cup
Rohit's illustrious T20 career came full circle as he retired as a double T20 World Cup champion, having first won the title in 2007 as a young cricketer.
Rohit Sharma , the captain of the Indian cricket team, has expressed his elation and renewed sense of purpose after India's triumphant win in the T20 World Cup earlier this year. Speaking at the launch of his cricket academy in Rashin, Karjat, Rohit revealed that the victory made him "feel alive again".
This sentiment is particularly poignant given India's heartbreaking loss to Australia in the ODI World Cup final last November. However, Rohit's team bounced back with a near-perfect campaign in the 2024 T20 World Cup , ultimately clinching a thrilling win against South Africa in the summit clash.
