ICC Champions Trophy 2025: In a little over 24 hours, the Indian team, which is having a winning streak, would take on the mighty Australians in a repeat of the 2023 ODI World Cup . While Rohit Sharma and Co. would know it is a good chance to avenge that loss, they would also know it will not be easy. The Indian team has also been facing unnecessary criticism for playing all it's matches in Dubai.

Former England cricketers Nasser Hussain and Michael Atherton have gone on to claim that the Indian team has an undue advantage compared to other teams. Now, former India captain Sourav Ganguly has hit back at the claims. Ganguly fired back saying that India would have scored more runs had they played in Pakistan.

Ind vs Aus - The BIG SHOWDOWN

Familiar foes Australia get ready for another Indian challenge, but this time they would be without their top pacers. Yet, India would have a herculean task ahead of them. Despite the form the Indian team is in right now, Australia will bring their A game to the table whenever they play the knockouts of the ICC events. The scars of the 2023 ODI World Cup might still be fresh in the minds of the the Indian team and they'll look to have their share of revenge and knock the mighty Aussies out of the Champions Trophy.

It would be interesting to see if the Indian team makes any changes to their playing XI that beat New Zealand by 44 runs. In all probability, they would not tinker with a winning combination.
