India's Coach Gautam Gambhir Highlights Three Bangladeshi Players for Team India to Watch Out For

With Team India all set to commence their red-ball schedule, a lot of focus will remain on Team India's performance as they fortify their case for the World Test championship Final. A lot is at stake, and Bangladesh will not be seen as an easy target. Ahead of the competition, Gautam Gambhir opened up on the Bangla Togers' latest performance against Pakistan and also pointed out the players which the host team needs to watch out.

Gautam Gambhir Highlights Bangladesh ’ Three Biggest Positives Ahead of the Test Series

Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir addressed the media ahead of the first Test match between India and Bangladesh in Chennai. The India coach opened up on Bangladesh's latest heroics against Pakistan , saying that India doesn't fear anyone, and the Bangla Tigers have the same mindset. He also pointed out that the side's three players -- Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan Miraz -- as the ones who have the most experience, which makes them a quality side.  

“I have been a big believer that we don’t fear anyone but we respect everyone. It is the same with Bangladesh . We don’t look at the opposition and play the game we know.

“I Congratulate them for what they did in Pakistan . But this is a new series and they are a quality side and we want to play good cricket. Yes, they have experience in Shakib, Mushfiqur and Mehidy, but we want to be switched on from ball 1,” Gautam Gambhir said.

Gautam Gambhir name-dropping the three veteran Bangladeshi players could be an indication for the Men in Blue to watch out for the three players as they put up a solid display against Pakistan in the 2-0 series whitewash in Rawalpindi. Defeating India is expected to be one of their biggest challenge as the elected players for the squad form up a potent force.

The two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh begins tomorrow, September 19th, with the first Test match taking place at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
