Virat Kohli's - The RCB Icon

Virat Kohli leads the list of highest run scorers in the history of IPL. Kohli has notched up 8004 runs in 244 innings and has played in every IPL edition since its inception. Kohli also holds the record for the most runs by an individual in a season. He amassed 973 runs in the 2016 edition and it still remains the most by any player in a single season of the IPL. He retired from the T20Is after India's T20 World Cup triumph and this will be his first IPL post-retirement from the shortest format.

Can he come up with the goods and inspire RCB to their maiden title? It will be difficult, but you cannot put it beyond him. What should work in his favour is his form and the never-dying passion for the sport.

Also, the moment the toss takes place on March 22 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Kohli will become the first Indian cricketer to feature in 400 T20s, 300 ODIs and 100 Tests - and that in itself is a monumental feat.
