Anuj Rawat Reveals What It Was Like Facing Bumrah For The First Time
Youngster Anuj Rawat has had a bittersweet stay in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (formerly known as Royal Challengers Bangalore ) franchise. Rawat who was picked up by RCB in 2022 is yet to cement his place in the team and nobody knows if he will be retained by the franchise or not.
Anuj Rawat, while speaking on Under-19 World Cup winner Manjot Kalra's podcast recalled how he felt while facing Bumrah for the very first time.
'I hadn't faced him before. I was pretty nervous before facing him. I probably 200 percent nervous I would say. But Sanjay Bangar Sir had already prepared me to face him. I was settled but still, when you see him coming in. It does hit you a little. Sanjay Sir had asked me before the game, what will you think Bumrah will bowl at you? I said that he'll bowl full, the length to flick the ball and he agreed' said Rawat
Jasprit Bumrah Returns For Bangladesh Series
Jasprit Bumrah has had a very hectic 2024. First he played in the two-month long IPL and then he played the T20 World Cup for India which he ended up winning. This is an open secret, that Bumrah is prone to injuries, given the fact that he is a fast bowler and his workload needs to be managed.
