Indian Premier League: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) clinched a dominating eight-wicket triumph over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on March 26. KKR opener Quinton de Kock slammed an unbeaten 97-run knock during the run chase and was the architect of their win against the Royals.
Quinton de Kock played an unbeaten 97-run knock from 61 balls at a strike rate of 159.02 during the run chase. The South African slammed 8 fours and 6 sixes and was named the 'Player of the Match' for his stupendous performance.

During KKR's match against RR on March 26, Quinton de Kock became the highest individual run-getter for the Knights during the run chase. Manish Pandey's 94-run knock in the 2014 IPL Final against Punjab Kings stands in the second spot on the list. Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir's unbeaten 90-run knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016 holds the fifth place on the chart.
Quinton de Kock has played 109 IPL matches, scoring 3258 runs at a strike rate of 134.74 and an average of 31.94. He slammed two centuries and 24 fifties till now in the extravagant T20 tournament. In IPL 2024, the 32-year-old wicketkeeper-batter played 11 matches and scored 250 runs at a strike rate of 134.41 and an average of 22.73.

KKR won the toss and decided to bowl against the Rajasthan Royals on March 26. The KKR bowling attack displayed a stunning performance and successfully restricted the Royals to 151/9. Dhruv Jurel was the only top run-getter for the Royals, he played a 33-run knock from 28 balls.
Varun Chakaravarthy led the KKR bowling attack with his two-wicket haul in his four-over spell.
During the run chase, Quinton de Kock gave a kickstart to the Knight Riders. The South African scored 97 runs from 61 balls at a strike rate of 159.02. Angkrish Raghuvanshi also scored 22 runs from 17 balls and powered KKR to clinch an 8-wicket win over RR in Guwahati.
