Indian Premier League: Sunrisers Hyderabad will face off against Lucknow Super Giants in the upcoming clash of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on March 27.
The Hyderabad-based franchise sealed a 44-run triumph over the Rajasthan Royals in their opening match of the ongoing T20 tournament. On the other hand, the Super Giants conceded a one-wicket defeat against Delhi Capitals on March 24.
The Sunrisers have faced four times against the Super Giants in IPL history, managing to clinch just one match against LSG. Both SRH and LSG have faced each other two times at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, where both sides have one win each. Last time Sunrisers Hyderabad faced Lucknow Super Giants in Hyderabad, SRH etched their name on the record books by chasing all the milestones.
After the fixture on March 27, SRH will travel to Vishakhapatnam to take on Delhi Capitals on March 30 in their next IPL 2025 fixture. Following that, they will take on Kolkata Knight Riders on April 3 at Eden Gardens. After that, the Hyderabad-based franchise will return back home to take on the Gujarat Titans on April 6.
LSG will be playing their next two fixtures of the IPL 2025 in front of their home fans. LSG will play the Punjab Kings on April 1 and the Mumbai Indians on April 4 at the Ekana Stadium. Following that, the Super Giants will travel to the 'City of Joy' to lock horns against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 6.
The Hyderabad-based franchise holds the top spot at the IPL 2025 standings with two points and a +2.200 net run rate. On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants stands in seventh place on the standings with -0.371 net run rate.
