Jos Buttler Returns to White-Ball Fold as England Announce ODI & T20I Squad for West Indies Tour
Jos Buttler will lead the white-ball team on an away tour against the West Indies, marking his long-awaited comeback to the English cricket team.
After the Australia series at home, England will soon embark on a journey to face off against the West Indies in white-ball cricket. The Three Lions put up a strong showcase against Australia, but the visitors took the series win by 3-2 in ODIs, while the T20I series was tied 1-1 after the series decider was abandoned due to rain. Ahead of the West Indies tour, the English white-ball side gained a massive boost as their regular skipper, Jos Buttler, will finally be able to return to the side after being announced for the tour.

Jos Buttler Set for a Return After Calf Injury as England Announce White-Ball Squad for West Indies Tour
Jos Buttler will finally return for England cricket's white-ball side as he will lead the side against West Indies in an away tour. Buttler has been recuperating from a calf injury and is set to make a full run in the away tour for the English side. He had missed out on the Australia series, with Phil Salt and Harry Brook leading the charge as the stand-in skipper at the T20Is and ODIs, respectively.
The England Cricket Board has announced a 14-player side, and two more players from the Test Squad from the Pakistan tour will be named, which will be determined after they elect the Playing XI for the Rawalpindi Test match. Some notable names include John Turner and Dan Mousley, who were also a part of the Australia series but didn't play any game. Uncapped player Jafer Chohan is also part of the squad.

England will be touring the Caribbean Islands and will engage in a white-ball duel against the West Indies. Both sides will lock horns in T20Is and ODIs, with matches happening in various regions like Barbados, Antigua and Saint Lucia. The series would begin on Thursday, October 31st. But ahead of the white-ball tour, the Three Lions will be in Pakistan for a three-match Test series.
