The format will see the return of T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya . Ahead of the start of the contest, Pandya has been quite vocal about the upcoming challenge on social media and is "ready to go." However, despite being a proven cricketer he is yet to prove his mettle in front of the new bowling coach of Team India Morne Morkel.

Morne Morkel ‘Unhappy’ With Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya sweated out in the nets before the start of the India vs Bangladesh T20I series. According to the report by Indian Express, bowling coach Morne Morkel was constantly monitoring the work of Pandya during the session and was "unhappy" with him for bowling largely closer to the stumps.
Morkel chatted with Pandya over his ball-delivery position, and Pandya took the takeaway with spirit. Following that the bowling coach moved to other bowlers in the net session.
