'Fascinating': Mitchell Marsh Left Awe Struck By Nicholas Pooran's Batting As Aussie Showers Praise On LSG Teammate

The match between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad was an intense game which saw Lucknow run away with the win by a margin of 5 wickets. Shardul Thakur was awarded the man of the match after Lucknow's win over SRH but there was another LSG superstar who is making headlines for his destructive batting- Nicholas Pooran. As Lucknow Super Giants chased Sunriser Hyderabad's target of 190, Nicholas Pooran stole the show with the bat as he made a destructive 70 runs off just 26 balls.
This innings by Pooran consisted of six sixes and six fours as he played with a strike rate of 269.23.
Mitchell Marsh Awestruck By Pooran's Innings
Mitchell Marsh who played a cameo and supporting role in LSG's chase by scoring 52, was left amazed by Nicholas Pooran's innings. While speaking at the post match press conference, Marsh showered praise on his teammate as he talked about how he has been on the receiving end of Pooran's destructive batting and was left fascinated by him.

"The only word I have for it is ‘fascinating.' I've played against Nicky for a long time, and usually, I've been on the receiving end of such innings," said Mitchell Marsh as he praised Nicholas Pooran.
Mitchell Marsh On His Connection With Pooran
Marsh in the post match press conference further talked about how he felt a great connection with Nicholas Pooran while being on the same team as him not only as a teammate but as a person too.

"Being on the same team, I feel a great connection with him as a bloke and as someone who I'm going to hopefully bat with a lot," said Mitchell Marsh as he added to his statements.
With the win against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow Super Giants now have one win and one loss in their two matches.
