An India vs Pakistan cricket match has always generated an ample amount of hype and excitement all around the world. The ‘Men In Blue’ take on the ‘Men In Green’ in a big-ticket Champions Trophy clash in Dubai on Sunday.
Team India have started their Champions Trophy campaign with a bang. An all-round performance saw India tame Bangladesh by six wickets while Pakistan lost to New Zealand by 60 runs in the tournament opener.
Pakistan Will Feel The Heat Against India
The onus will be on Pakistan to get the better of their archrivals as another loss would leave them on the verge of another group-stage exit at an ICC event. They couldn’t get past the hurdle in the ODI World Cup and T20 World Cup respectively and they will be determined to put their misery behind them this time around.

Harshit Rana Preferred Over Arshdeep Singh In Champions Trophy
The absence of Jasprit Bumrah has been mooted as a big loss for India. But both Harshit Rana and Mohammed Shami gave a good account of themselves. Rana’s inclusion has been a huge talk of the town as a section of the people reportedly preferred Arshdeep Singh over the KKR pacer.

But Sanjay Manjrekar now pointed out that Harshit’s ability to strike in the middle overs paved the way in his favour. Rana picked up nine wickets so far in the limited over format and four of them have arrived in the middle overs.
While speaking on JioHotstar Manjrkar said, ‘I think this team management is happy with Harshit Rana. He has taken wickets for India whenever he has played. With the new ball, India has Shami, Arshdeep. You need someone who can take wickets in middle overs. The way Harshit has bowled with his energy in middle overs, he has convinced everyone with his performances. Arshdeep has been unlucky, he has not got many chances.’
India have decided to go with the same combination against Pakistan and Harshit will have another chance to cement his place in the playing XI in the remainder of the Champions Trophy.
