PAK vs BAN: Shakib Al Hasan Punished For Angrily Throwing Ball At Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan
Shakib Al Hasan has been handed a big penalty for throwing a ball at Mohammad Rizwan in the first test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
For the first time in their history, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan in test cricket as they stunned the home side at Rawalpindi and won by 10 wickets. However, the first test between Bangladesh and Pakistan wasn't short of controversy.

ICC punishes Shakib Al Hasan for throwing ball at Mohammad Rizwan
During Pakistan's second innings vs Bangladesh things got heated between Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Rizwan in the 33rd over.
Shakib Al Hasan ran up to bowl but Mohammad Rizwan wasn't ready and he left his stance. But in an erratic action, Rizwan threw the ball at the Pakistani wicketkeeper batsman and over his head. This moment prompted umpire Richard Kettleborough to have a word and warn the Bangladeshi cricketer.
As it turns out, ICC has now punished Shakib for his actions. Shakib Al Hasan has been fined 30% of his match fees for throwing the ball at Rizwan and has also been handed one demerit point for Level 1 breach of ICC code of conduct.
Shakib Al Hasan has now earned his first demerit point in 24 months. If a player earns 4 demerit points in 24 months then those points are turned into suspension points and the player faces suspension from international matches.
Shakib Al Hasan has accepted the offence and sanctions hence there won't be any official hearing.
ICC reprimand both Pakistan and Bangladesh
Both Pakistan and Bangladesh were also penalised by ICC for slow over rates in the first test match.
Pakistan were docked six World Test Championship points by ICC while Bangladesh were docked three points.
