The Pakistan Cricket Team has been in shambles, and their troubles were blatantly visible throughout several tournaments and series, be it the 2023 ODI World Cup or the T20 World Cup in 2024. The Babar Azam-led side severely faltered despite having the likes of Gary Kirsten in the fray. After a shambolic campaign, PAK looks for some much-needed change as they move ahead to take part in the upcoming red-ball series. But some disturbing reports and revelations have surfaced, as Gary Kirsten has put up severe allegations against the team's star bowler, Shaheen Afridi.

In the last few weeks, Pakistan Cricket has been in shambles as they majorly faltered in the preceding ICC competition. Babar Azam was brought up as the skipper after he stepped down, but it made no effect on the side as their dreadful stint continued in the T20WC. Pakistan Cricket failed to even reach the Super 8 stage after they lost to teams like USA and India. Babar's captaincy was under the radar yet again, and some vital steps were made as they moved ahead. But recently, some new reports have surfaced in Pakistani Media which have put Shaheen Afridi in the firing zone.
Numerous reports in Pakistani media outlets Geo News and Samaa TV state that coach Gary Kirsten has charged Shaheen Afridi for misbehaving during previous trips with the coaches and support staff. The coaching staff denounced Afridi's attitude, even if the extent of the transgression is still unknown. In addition, he has already performed such an act on previous tours, so it is not the first time.

Pakistan's T20 World Cup campaign was heavily denounced, be it them facing a shocking defeat to the United States or losing to India in what could have ben an easy win for the Men in Green. The entire team has been lambasted, and the PCB has begun making significant changes in the regime as they aim for better situations before they begin playing red-ball games.
Pakistan is set to be in action against Bangladesh in a two-match Test series, leading to them facing England in a three-match red-ball series.
