Team India has been in incredible form lately, and their performance in red-ball cricket has other teams petrified. After The Indian Cricket Team secured a win in a match that looked like it would end up in a draw, the Rohit Sharma -led Indian Cricket Team will lock horns against another test cricket powerhouse in The Kiwis. Ahead of the competition, the Hitman was seen taking up some drills and showcasing his casual demeanor as he took up some practice.

Rohit Sharma 's Relaxed Attitude Shines Through During His Red-Ball Nets Session

Rohit Sharma is back on his home turf, and he recently shared a training video. The skipper of the Indian Cricket Team was seen all geared up with knee pads and gloves as he took up some practice with the red ball. Given that India's Test cricket schedule is in full swing, Rohit is keeping himself game-ready. The India skipper's laid-back attitude is something which has attracted the fans, and he was at his natural self as he took up some training.

In the video, Rohit Sharma was about to enter the nets, looking ready, when someone asked him if he wanted to start his training session with a six. The Indian skipper would reply in his typical casual fashion. The person asked Rohit, "Pehla Ball Six Kya?" to which he responded, "Pagal hogaya hai kya? (Are you mad or something?)." Rohit went on to hit some impressive shots during the nets session.

The Hitman's preparation was for the upcoming series as Team India will lock horns against New Zealand in a three-match Test series. The action begins on October 16th, 2024, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

However, there are concerns regarding the Indian opener's availability as he might miss out on the first Test match in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. As per reports, Rohit Sharma may miss out on the Perth Test Match due to personal reasons, and if the issue persists, he may have to withdraw from the match-up. The test match is set to begin on November 22nd, 2024, and an official confirmation of the Hitman's availability is yet to come from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
