Rajasthan Royals stand-in captain Riyan Parag is being heavily trolled on social media following his terrible outing against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their IPL match. Riyan Parag when he came into bat at number three fell early as Simarjeet Singh picked up his wicket for just four runs in a chase of a massive target of 287. Following this, Riyan Parag is being trolled left and right by fans on social media platforms due to his low score and the massive target that has been set by the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

SRH Put Massive Total In Front Of RR

Rajasthan Royals won the toss against Sunrisers Hyderabad and stand-in captain Riyan Parag decided to bowl first. This decision however proved to be costly as massive innings from Travis Head and Ishan Kishan who scored 67 and 106 respectively, helped the Sunrisers Hyderabad put up a target of 287 for the Rajasthan Royals to chase.

Fans Take To Social Media To Troll Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag had a massive IPL season in 2024 as he was absolutely lethal with the bat for RR. During the course of the 2024 Indian Premier League season, Riyan Parag was always in contention for the Orange Cap and at the end of the tournament came in at third with a total of 573 runs to his name.

Riyan Parag was recently handed the captaincy for Rajasthan Royals for three matches after regular captain Sanju Samson picked up a finger injury. Sanju Samson during this time will be playing as a pure batter and is being used as an impact sub player by the Rajasthan Royals.

Following RR's disaster against SRH, fans are trolling Parag on social media for his batting and captaincy.
