As the Indian skipper and fielding coach headed towards their car, they were swarmed by hundreds of fans who came out to see the skipper in person and showcase their admiration for the Indian Cricket Team. The fans were seen struggling to take selfies with the Indian skipper.

Team India Reign Supreme In Champions Trophy 2025

Team India's all-around brilliance allowed them to secure grand-fashioned wins over Bangladesh and Pakistan. In-form Shubman Gill aided the Indian side from the batting end, while the bowling side featured marvellous spells from Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav and Harshit Rana. Gill secured a ton in the opening group stage match against Bangladesh, which propelled India's win in the series opener. He went on to score a crucial 52-ball 46 against Pakistan.

Virat Kohli emerged as the performer of the match after he battled his issues with spin bowling and scored his 51st ODI ton against the host nation. The India star scored the winning runs, and they have sealed a spot in the semi-final.

Semi-finalists India and England will now lock horns against each other at the UAE's Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, March 02, 2025.
