ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Captain Rohit Sharma is a very popular cricketer and is loved for not just his prowess with the bat, but also for his mannerisms. Fans find him funny and that adds to his overall charm. On Thursday, fans got to witness another hilarious moment, thanks to the Indian captain. After the six-wicket win over Bangladesh in Dubai, Rohit was seen mimicking young Shubman Gill. For the unversed, Gill is Rohit's opening partner. In the game against Bangladesh, Gill hit an unbeaten century to power India over the line. After Gill got to the milestone, he came up with his signature celebration where he bows to the crowd. Rohit did something similar while Indian team was heading for the post-match presentation.

Meanwhile, Rohit and Gill got India off to a brisk start in a 229 chase. Both stitched a 69-run stand before the Indian captain perished for a well-made 41 off 36 balls. Gill took the side over the line and remained unbeaten on 101* off 129 balls. He was also adjudged the player of the match.

‘One of my most satisfying innings’

"Definitely one of my most satisfying innings that I have played and my first century in ICC events. Very satisfying and very happy with the way I performed. When me and Rohit bhai went out there, we thought cutting the ball wasn't easy because the balls which were outside the off-stump weren't coming onto the bat that nicely," Gill said at the post-match presentation.
