ICC Champions Trophy 2025: An undefeated India are taking on a depleted Australian side in the CT 2025 semi-final at the Dubai International cricket stadium in Dubai. With a spot in the summit clash at stake, it is a big game and both sides know it. It was the Australian side that beat India in the 2023 ODI World Cup and a number of players in the Rohit Sharma -led side were part of that game. 

India were beaten in that game and the wounds would be there. On Tuesday, one can see the fire in the belly of the Indian players, they look hungry and look like they are on a mission.

During the 32nd over of the game, Virat Kohli threw the ball towards the non-strikers end where Kuldeep Yadav was present. Instead of holding onto the throw, Kuldeep let it go and that upset Kohli. 

Yes, Rohit Sharma was there for the backup and there were no extra runs for the overthrow. But, even Rohit lost his cool and blasted Kuldeep. The spinner really got a piece of Rohit and Kohli's mind.

Meanwhile, Australia are 195 for four in 36 overs. Steve Smith is on 71 and he would be looking to play till the end. Smith has the company of Alex Carey and Australia look solid for a big finish. Ravindra Jadeja with two scalps up untill now has been the pick of the Indian bowlers. 

Earlier in the day, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. The Australian team has made two changes to their XI. For Australia, Cooper Connolly came in for Short, Tanveer Sangha came in for Spencer Johnson.

Can India Restrict Australia to 250? 

India would hope they can restrict Australia to under 250. The Smith-led side have a number of spinners who can trouble the Indian batters. Whatever total India would have to chase, the start would be critical. India would hope Rohit and Shubman Gill can get them off to a steady start.
