Shubman Gill Divulges Team India's Plans Against Pakistan In Champions Trophy
After opening their Champions Trophy campaign with a six-wicket win over Bangladesh, Team India would engage in one of the toughest challenges when they encounter Pakistan. Team India has the edge as they are coming off a resounding win. But the hosts would be hungry to gain the edge as the upcoming match-up would be a do-or-die for the Mohammad Rizwan-led side. Ahead of the mouth-watering clash among the cross-border rivals, Shubaman Gill offers a glimpse into the team's plans for the match-up.
"We definitely want to play positive and aggressive cricket. 300-325 will be very good score on this wicket. The team batting well in the middle overs will have a better chance of winning," Shubman Gill said to the media on the eve of the India vs Pakistan match in Dubai, as quoted by PTI.

Gill Reveals Whether Winning The Toss Gives An Edge
The pitch in the Dubai International Stadium brings a unique challenge for both sides, as it could be tricky to understand it. The pitch has traditionally been batter-friendly, and during the IND vs BAN clash, the surface favoured the Bangla Tigers, who were batting first on the pitch. Pakistan may opt to bat first if they win the toss because of Dubai's pitch conditions. But Shubman Gill believes the toss would not have any impact as there is no dew. However, he acknowledged that the team batting in the second innings would be under pressure.
"Toss won't matter, as there is no dew. Team batting second will have more pressure," the India vice-captain added.
