Team India's ODI and Test skipper Rohit Sharma shared a touching moment from his home where he could be seen spending some time with his two kids. Rohit has two kids — Samaira and Ahaan — with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh. He is also coming off a magnificent title win in Dubai after Team India defeated New Zealand to win the ICC Champions Trophy title.
Team India skipper Rohit Sharma is enjoying some much-needed downtime after the arduous schedule, which included the England bilaterals and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Indian skipper finished the marquee ICC tournament luxuriously as he successfully clinched consecutive ICC title wins after winning the coveted title and securing bragging rights in ODI cricket. Now, the Indian Test and ODI skipper is getting some time to spend with his family. Rohit shared an adorable moment with his kids before he got back into action.
Rohit Sharma took to the social media platform Instagram and shared a touching photograph of himself with all his children. The Indian skipper held on to his newborn son, Ahaan, whom the couple welcomed on November 15, 2024. Rohit's elder child, Samaira, could be seen playing on the balcony, which has a beautiful view of Mumbai.
After being in action at the England ODI bilaterals and the ICC Champions Trophy, skipper Rohit Sharma will be seen in action for the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming IPL 2025 season. Rohit will function under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, who was made the skipper in the IPL 2024. MI will look to improve its position and performance from last year, as they were at the bottom part of the IPL 2024 standings.
Interestingly, Rohit Sharma has a chance to lead the Mumbai Indians when they begin their IPL 2025 campaign against the Chennai Super Kings. Given that Hardik Pandya will be ineligible to play due to a suspension from the IPL 2024, Rohit and Suryakumar Yadav are among the frontrunners to lead the side. Rohit's chances are substantial, as he has been the leader in the past. However, it also depends on whether Rohit agrees to do so. It is yet to be seen what will happen at the IPL's El Clasico.
