Team India is deservedly reaping the fruits of its hard work lately. They Won the T20 World Cup 2024, and now the new generation is making its mark on the international stage, disseminating the message that they are ready to take the baton forward. The 23-run win over Zimbabwe that came in the bilateral series' 3rd T20I will go down in history books, as it has marked an enormous record, putting India ahead of all the other forces in international cricket.
Shubman Gill-led side pounced authority over the Zimbabwe team, who showcased their prowess only in bits and pieces at the Harare Sports Club. India won the match by 23 runs to take 2-1 lead in the series. The victory does do down as a routine win as it was the 150th win of Team India at the international T20 space. India are the first win to attain this feat. Pakistan are second with 142 victories.

Skipper Shubman Gill struck 66, while off-spinner Washington Sundar returned with 3/15 as India defeated Zimbabwe by 23 runs in the third T20I to take a 2-1 lead in five-match series here on Wednesday.
Electing to bat, India scored 182/4 with Gill (66, 49b, 7x4, 3x6) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (49, 28b, 4x4, 3x6) leading the way with contrasting knocks.
For Zimbabwe, pacer Blessing Muzarabani (2/25) was the best bowler.
In reply, Zimbabwe made a late resurgence with Dion Myers' maiden T20I fifty in the company of Wellington Masakadza but only to fall short and were restricted for 159/6.
The fourth T20I of the series is slated on Saturday.
