The win was special for several reasons, and for Rishabh Pant , it was a supremely special moment as he won an ICC title on his comeback for the Men in Blue. Suryakumar Yadav 's iconic catch was the game-changing moment for Team India as they took out David Miller to derail SA's momentum. The Stumper reflected upon SKY's catch and revealed the thoughts he had during the match at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

Rishabh Pant Dives Back to Time, Talks About Suryakumar Yadav ’s World Cup-Winning Catch
During an appearance on stand-up comedian Tanmay Bhat's YouTube channel, Rishabh Pant reflected on the World Cup-winning catch by Suryakumar Yadav . Pant said that when he saw the ball soaring in the air, it looked like a six. But due to the fans' prayers, the ball did not go over the boundary line.
"When the ball was in the air, it felt like everything was gone. When it hit the bat, it seemed like a sure-shot six. The ball did not cross the boundary line because of the Indian fans' prayers," said Rishabh Pant .

Rishabh Pant 's comeback for the national team will remain memorable to the fans as he came back from a life-threatening car accident, and his career was on the line. Pant was out of action for over a year and he made his return in the IPL 2024 season with the Delhi Capitals . Soon after his IPL heroics, he returned to Team India and put up a spectacular showcase. The wicketkeeper-batter was pivotal for India's title win at the T20 World Cup . He also opened up on how winning the World Cup on his comeback was so special.
"As a cricketer, you dream of winning the World Cup. During the injury, I was thinking that I wanted to win the World Cup. To come back into the side and directly win the World Cup was an unbelievable feeling," Pant added.
