Team India Squad Arrives in Chennai Ahead of Bangladesh Tests, Star Cricketers to Join Team Camp

Team India is all set to begin their red-ball schedule with the Bangladesh Tests. After coming off to a loss against Sri Lanka in ODIs, the Men in Blue will be determined to come off the losing spell and attempt to deliver their best in Test Cricket. India's ultimate aim will be the WTC Final, and their campaign to earn a spot in the final begins with the IND-BAN Tests. Ahead of the first test match between both sides, the cricketers of the Indian Cricket Team have reached Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to join the team camp.

Team India stars Jasprit Bumrah , Rishabh Pant & More reach Chennai ahead of Bangladesh Tests

Indian Cricket Team stars like Jasprit Bumrah , Rishabh Pant , and KL Rahul were among the ones who were spotted coming out of the Chennai Airport and board the team bus on Thursday Night. The players selected for the 1st Test Match will be joining the team camp in Chennai as they train up for the extensive red-ball schedule.

Wicketkeeper-batters Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul earned their spot after competing in the Duleep Trophy tournament. Jasprit Bumrah was handed the exception as he comes close in making a return to the red-ball format. Apart from Bumrah, Virat Kohli will also make his return to Team India in Tests. He last featured in the South Africa Series, which ended in a draw.

Bangladesh is coming off a massive win against Pakistan . The Rawalpindi Tests turned out to be mayhem for the home side as the Bangla Tigers handed them a shambolic loss. The visiting side will be running high on motivation, but India's dominant stature could pose a threat to them.

The first Test Match between India and Bangladesh will take place at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, T. N.
