Virat Kohli bounced back in style with a stupendous century against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy in Dubai on Sunday. Riding on his 51st ODI hundred, India defeated their archrivals by six wickets and secured a place in another ICC knockout.
Virat's form was a matter of concern as the former Indian skipper's struggle with the bat was quite evident. He failed to meet the expectations in the Border Gavaskar Trophy and as a result, India crashed out of the World Test Championship.
Sunil Gavaskar's Huge Prediction For Virat Kohli
But his return to form will be a massive boost for 'Men In Blue' who will look to lay hands on their third Champions Trophy title. Sunil Gavaskar believes this knock against Pakistan will be a huge confidence booster for Virat who has been India's backbone in this particular format.

Gavaskar said on Star Sports, ‘What happened in Australia, it was disappointing for him and for all those supporting him. The regularity in which he got out the same way was more disappointing. Everybody was keen to see him get big runs. Against Bangladesh, he seemed to go all the way till that leg-spinner bounced a little bit more. Here against Pakistan, we have been saying things, there are certain teams which bring out the best in you and against Pakistan, Kohli always has produced something special. I can never forget his knock at Melbourne (2022 T20 World Cup match vs Pakistan).
"This one will build his confidence. For the remaining matches, you can see expect fluency from Virat Kohli.'
