Mohammed Siraj will feature for the Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025. The star Indian bowler wasn't retained by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru ahead of the mega auction and he was picked up by the Titans for a whopping 12.25 crore.
Siraj made his debut in the IPL back in 2017 for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The local boy spent just one year at SRH and moved to RCB in the following year. He went on to be a pivotal part of RCB having played for the franchise for consecutive seven years.
He emerged as Virat Kohli's main bowling weapon during his stay and the 31-year-old also happens to be the third-highest wicket-taker for RCB with 83 scalps to his name.
Ahead of the start of the new season, Siraj credited Virat as an instrumental figure in his career. In an interaction with ANIhe said, To be honest Virat Kohli has huge hand in my career, he has backed me in my bad time, 2018 and 2019 he supported me he even retained me and after that my performance and graph got up he has been very supportive. It has been very emotional for me to leave RC. Let's see what happens when I come against RCB. The match is on April 2."
The Indian fast-bowling star also opened up about his preparation with the Gujarat Titans ahead of the start of the season. "My training is going very well with all the pacers in my team, and our bowling unit knows how to plan and execute. I am feeling very pleasant training with them all, teammates, and especially being here in Gujarat.
