ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Be it batting or fielding or fitness; Virat Kohli ticks them all even at the twilight of his illustrious career. On Tuesday, Kohli once again showed he is India's main man in the ongoing Champions Trophy by pulling off another Dubai masterclass in the semi-final against Australia. Kohli hit a brilliant 84 off 98 balls to help India win.
During the match, he also became the Indian fielder with most ODI catches ever. He took the catch of Josh Inglis to reach that feat. So one had expected Kohli would be given the 'Dressing Room BTS', fielder of the match award. But that did not happen.
It was Shreyas Iyer, who got the special award from former India coach Ravi Shastri. While Shastri was putting the medal around Iyer's neck, the other players were clapping jubilantly. During the game, Iyer affected a crucial runout of Alex Carey, who was set and looking dangerous at that point of time. He then took the catch of Ben Dwarshuis. Apart from that, he also saved a lot of runs with his brilliant fielding.

What's Next For Team India?
Meanwhile, India have reached the final unbeaten - which in itself is a massive feat. India would hope they can continue the glorious run in the final as well and clinch the silverware. For the unversed, Rohit Sharma led India to the T20 World Cup last year and had led the side to the 2023 ODI WC final as well.
