Virat Kohli Registers Huge Milestone Against KKR, Shatters Unique Record To Enter Elite List In IPL

RCB star Virat Kohli has breached the 1000-run mark against Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL . Virat recorded this feat during the IPL 2025 opener between KKR and RCB at the Eden Gardens on Saturday.

Virat needed to score just 38 runs to register this record and he finished the game with a 36-ball 59. Riding on his explosive innings, RCB have thrashed KKR by 7 wickets to make a winning start to their IPL 2025 campaign. Virat is now 3rd in the list as only David Warner and Rohit Sharma have scored more runs against KKR than the former RCB skipper. He also became the sole player to register 100 runs against four IPL teams. He already had registered the milestone against Chennai Super Kings , Delhi Capitals and   Punjab Kings and KKR became the 4th team on the list.

Virat has scored 1081 runs against Delhi Capitals, his most against an IPL team followed by 1067 runs against CSK.
