Virat Kohli Seeks Blessings From Mohammed Shami's Mother

Former India skipper Virat Kohli might've gotten out cheaply in the summit clash of the ICC Champions Trophy, but nobody can discount the role that he has played in this tournament. Kohli stepped up and guided India in tricky run chases during the tournament. Kohli also scored a stellar hundred in the group stage game against Pakistan which sealed India's semi-final spot.

After the presentation ceremony of the Champions Trophy final, Virat Kohli greeted Mohammed Shami's mother and seeked her blessings. The former India captain then clicked few pictures with the star India pacer's mother.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have won two ICC Champions Trophies and a T20 World Cup while being an important part of the same dressing room. Rohit Sharma scored 180 runs in the 2025 Champions Trophy and Kohli closed the tournament with 218 runs.
