'We Pakistanis Are JEALOUS...' - Rashid Latif's Sensational Admission Ahead of India-New Zealand Champions Trophy 2025 Final

ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Pakistan have had a forgetful Champions Trophy 2025, becoming the first team to get eliminated from the semi-final race. Now, it seems like Pakistani's are getting all excited ahead of the Dubai final featuring India. Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has made a sensational admission. 

Latif says it is understandable that Pakistani's are jealous of Indians, but why are Englishmen getting into it. He also used a popular phrase to sum up the scenario. He said: “Begaani shaadi mein abdullah deewana (They are trying to be overly involved in someone else's affairs).”

“If we (Pakistan) are talking about India having an advantage, you get it. But why are former England cricketers whinging about it now?” he said this on his YouTube show ‘Caught Behind’. 

‘There was a problem with scheduling’

"Yes, there was a problem with scheduling. On Saturday, March 2nd, India played New Zealand in Dubai. If India had played that match a day earlier, when England played South Africa (on March 1st) in Karachi, then the semifinal lineup would have been decided easily. It was a blunder from the ICC and all the stakeholders. You have one job: to check the schedule, and you missed the mistake. Once you agreed, and now your team is out, you are whinging. All the representatives of the cricket boards are to blame. You should not go to the ICC meeting to have a good time. Do your job properly," he added.

Ind vs NZ CT 2025 FINAL

Rohit Sharma would be leading his side in yet another ICC final. He would certainly love to clinch the title, but it will not be easy against New Zealand. The NZ side has beaten India twice in ICC finals in the past. But again, India are in red-hot form and that would give them a slight advantage.
