Ashutosh Sharma has guided Delhi Capitals to a sensational victory against Lucknow Super Giants in Visakhapatnam. Delhi looked to be struggling after losing early wickets but it was Ashutosh Sharma who kept his composure and played a brilliant hand to inflict a major damage on LSG. Ashutosh remained unbeaten with a knock of 31-ball 66. He burst into the scene last year but Punjab Kings didn't retain him. Delhi snapped him at the auction for as low as 3.8 crore.

Internet has exploded as people have heaped praises on the 26-year-old.

Delhi Capitals Defeated Lucknow Super Giants

Batting first, riding on Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran's explosive innings LSG posted a whopping 209 runs. Delhi were stuttering at 65/6 but Ashustosh had some other plans. The former PBKS batter launched a brutal onslaught and kept his nerves to pull off a brilliant win. After the match, Ashutosh reflected on his innings. As quoted by ESPN Cricinfo he said, “I learned from the last year, because there were a few games where I couldn't finish the game, so I have been focusing on finishing games, even in domestic cricket. I have a lot of belief in myself that if I play till the last over and the last ball, anything can happen.”

Delhi will now face Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 30.
