Glenn Maxwell's Indian-origin wife becomes victim of online abuse after Australia win ODI World Cup

Australia became the sixth time winners of the ODI World Cup as they were able to defeat India in the finals of the 2023 edition on November 19.

Australia once again proved their dominance in world cricket as they defeated India in the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup by six wickets. Australian batsman Travis Head played an innings of 137 runs and was adjudged the Player of the Match for his performance. Australian pacer Mitchell Starc also played a vital role with the ball and picked up a three-wicket haul.

Vini Raman trolled by Indian fans as Australia wins sixth ODI World Cup title 

While Australia won their sixth ODI World Cup, the Indian fans criticised Rohit Sharma and Co. for the loss and took out their frustration. However, there were also a bunch of people who went on to troll Australian batter Glenn Maxwell's Indian Indian-origin wife Vini Raman.

After Australia won the match against India, Vini Raman posted a few visuals on his Instagram handle which included Glenn Maxwell's celebration after scoring a double hundred in the World Cup also a cute video of her husband holding their baby. Vini Raman posted a visual of her watching the match with her daughter. However, her last slide held a cryptic message for the people who trolled her after Australia's win against India at the World Cup. She wrote: 

aaaaand cue all the hateful vile DMs. Stay classy. Can't believe this needs to be said BUT you can be Indian and also support the country of your birth where you have been raised and more importantly the team your husband plus father of your child plays in #nobrainer. Take a chill pill and direct that outrage towards more important world issues. 

The comment section of Vini Raman's post also had a lot of rubbish and there were a lot of Indian fans who took a jibe at her for celebrating Australia's win. Some of them are mentioned below: 

Team India lose ninth ICC knockout match 

The Indian team lost its ninth ICC knockout match in 10 years after losing to Australia in the CWC 2023 final on Sunday. The ‘Men in Blue’ were virtually the real winners of the tournament as they were the only side that remained unbeaten up until the final.
