Jasprit Bumrah's brilliance gets rid of Steve Smith

In a stint to defend 241 runs against a power-packed Australian batting lineup, the Indian bowlers got rid of top Australian batters David Warner and Mitchell Marsh early on in the innings and got them out for scores of 7 and 15 runs respectively. In an attempt to get more wickets, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah deceived Aussie batter Steve Smith with his brilliant variation. Bumrah bowled an off-cutter which went onto his Smith's pad and later he was given out by the umpire.

Can India avenge the 2003 final loss against Australia?

The Indian cricket team faced a 125-run loss against Australia in the 2003 ODI World Cup final courtesy of a 140*-run inning from Australian skipper Ricky Ponting. The Indian team has the chance to avenge the loss and also repeat the 2011 ODI World Cup heroics. 

Team India has played some ruthless and dominating cricket in the ongoing edition of the tournament and has almost won every match single-handedly. The 'Men in Blue' will also level Australia's record of 11 wins in a single edition of a 50-over World Cup. The Australian team has achieved the record twice in 2003 and 2007.
