The most recent chapter in this delightful banter unfolded when India's cricket team decimated Sri Lanka by a staggering 302 runs at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Michael Vaughan couldn't resist the opportunity to engage with Wasim Jaffer. He took to X (Formerly Twitter) to poke fun at Jaffer's individual performance at the Wankhede.

It was a classic setup for some light-hearted banter, and Wasim Jaffer didn't disappoint with his witty response. He playfully acknowledged the batting-friendly nature of the Wankhede pitch and shared, "Yes, Michael, Wankhede is a batting paradise, too bad I missed out in the couple of Tests I played there. Could be because I preferred challenges. Like the challenge of scoring home & away Test 200s or FC 200s & 300s... but you wouldn't know any of those feelings, so nevermind."

Wasim Jaffer's response not only displayed his wit, but also highlighted his remarkable achievements as a cricketer. He emphasized his penchant for taking on challenging situations and achieving remarkable feats both in Test cricket and domestic first-class cricket. Note, that Wasim Jaffer is the all-time highest run-scorer in the Ranji Trophy.
