Cricket fraternity hails India's stupendous comeback vs Pakistan at T20 World Cup 2024

Despite a valiant effort by Rishabh Pant (42 off 31 balls) after being put in to bat in cloudy conditions, the Rohit Sharma-led team experienced a mid-innings collapse on a two-paced track and were all out for a lacklustre 119 in 19 overs. With eight wickets remaining and 48 runs needed off of as many balls, Pakistan appeared to have the game under control. But India came back from the dead with sharp spells from the always-effective Bumrah (3/14) and Hardik Pandya (2/24) that saw Pakistan lose wickets at a rate of knots to finish at 113 for seven in 20 overs. Following the game, prominent figures and cricket legends such as Mohammed Kaif and Sachin Tendulkar shared their thoughts on the Rohit Sharma-led team's flawless second innings comeback.
