Which 8 teams have qualified for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025?

India were among the first teams to earn their place in the Champions Trophy, which is slated to return after seven years. In the World Cup 2023, India are joined by South Africa in second place, Australia in third place, and New Zealand in the World Cup 2023 semifinals. The top 4 have flawlessly passed the Champions Trophy qualification test, but with Pakistan being the hosts and thus being guaranteed a spot in the tournament, there was a squabble for the three remaining places. Consequently after real struggle, England, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan have qualified for the competition.

England were on the verge of missing out on qualification at one stage during the tournament after being put on the bottom of the table in what was a dismal World Cup performance for the defending champions. However, with back-to-back victories in their final two matches, England finished seventh in the league stage, avoiding the tragedy. Meanwhile, after placing eighth, Bangladesh became the final team to qualify for the Champions Trophy.
