Ballon d'Or 2025: A few hours left before the start of the most iconic award ceremony in the history of football, the Ballon d’Or. The stage is set in Paris to host the 69th edition of the Ballon d’Or awards.
Earlier, the France Football magazine named the nominations for all the award categories. In the best footballer (male) category, Ousmane Dembele will have a great chance to win the prestigious award after his magnificent performance in the previous 2024-2025 season. With Paris-Saint Germain, Dembele won the UEFA Champions League, Coupe de France, Ligue 1, and many others. Dembele played 49 matches for the Paris-based club in the 2024-2025 season, scoring 33 goals and making 13 assists.
PSG players will not be attending the prestigious event because of their upcoming Ligue 1 clash against Marseille on Monday, the same day when the Ballon d'Or is set to take place in Paris.
However, Ousmane Dembele is likely to attend the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Paris since he hasn't been involved in any kind of football activities in the ongoing season and has been recuperating from a hamstring injury, for which he has been kept out of PSG's squad for their upcoming clash.

The youngster played 109 matches for Barcelona, netting 27 goals. In the previous 2024-2025 season, he scored 18 goals and made 21 assists after appearing in 55 games.
