Real Madrid came back to Santiago Bernabéu triumphant 3-0 against Real Valladolid. With 64% possession and 17 shots, 9 of which were on target, goals from Valverde, Brahim Díaz, and debutant Endrick guaranteed Real Madrid's victory, thereby highlighting Madrid's dominance compared to Valladolid's 8 shots with no shots on target. Real Madrid's fourth spot in La Liga marks a significant beginning to the season with this victory. As a team, Real Madrid was unstoppable, but their star signing, Kylian Mbappe, failed to score on his debut at the home stadium. Although he did not score, he was a threat on the pitch till the time he was present.

Carlo Ancelotti backs Kylian Mbappe and anticipates that he will score goals for Real Madrid soon

Head coach of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, has minimised worries over Kylian Mbappe's goal drought in La Liga. With a 3-0 success against Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday (August 25), the reigning Spanish champions won their first La Liga season victory.

For Real Madrid, Mbappe has yet registered no goals in La Liga. Many expected Mbappe to score often given the team's high-profile offence. He has not scored yet even though he started both games this season.

Mbappe made four tries on goal in the game against Valladolid, but only one was on target and he did not score. Young striker Endrick replaced him in the 86th minute and scored the last goal of the game.

Ancelotti is still hopeful as he thinks Mbappe will start to find the net in not too distant future. Speaking via Managing Madrid, he said:

“He is a spectacular striker, very fast, very good without the ball, he attacks from behind. He has had 3–4 situations. He doesn’t need to go left or right; in the end, he will score goals.”

Following his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ended, Kylian Mbappe joined Real Madrid on a free transfer and made a noteworthy arrival to the Spanish squad.

He scored his first goal in Real Madrid's 2-0 triumph against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup taking place in Warsaw. Mbappe, 25 years old, is keen to establish his form in La Liga as Real Madrid gets ready for their next league game against Las Palmas on Thursday, August 29.
