FC Barcelona Looking To Bring Back Brazilian Superstar Neymar In 2025

FC Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Neymar Jr. once his contract at Al-Hilal expires in 2025.

Back in 2017 when Neymar decided to leave FC Barcelona to go to PSG , the transfer broke and changed the transfer market forever as Neymar was sold for a world record fee of 222 Million Euros. During his tenure at PSG , Neymar tried to go back to Barcelona but PSG and Barcelona were not able to agree upon the price. A few weeks ago rumors floated again that Neymar wants to return to Barcelona and leave his current club Al Hilal. 

Neymar just might get his wish as there are reports that Barcelona are eyeing to sign the Brazil superstar once his contract expires in 2025. 

Barcelona Might Bring Back Neymar

According to reports by Spanish outlet Sport, Barcelona are considering bring back Neymar to the club. According to reports, the main priority for Barcelona in 2025 would be to sign Norway and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland. 

If the move for Erling Haaland does not come through for Barcelona, then as a back up Barcelona are considering signing back Neymar to the club he left 7 years ago.

Barcelona Could Get Neymar For Free 

As Neymar's contract is set to expire in 2025, Barcelona would be eyeing to get the skillful winger back to the club on a free transfer. Neymar would also be looking to go to Barcelona has he has made no secret of his desire to return to the club.

Neymar is also hoping to return back to Europe to get match ready as he looks to be selected for Brazil's squad for the 2026 World Cup. With Neymar back in Barcelona it would be the perfect way for the player to get up and running for the World Cup to be held in USA, Canada and Mexico. 

Neymar is currently recovering from an ACL injury which put him out of action last year.
