Naomi Girma and Olivia Moultrie earn US Soccer awards for play in 2023
In the 39-year history of the award, defender Naomi Girma became just the second Black athlete to receive the Female athlete of the Year for 2023 title on Thursday. The Young Female Player of the Year award went to Olivia Moultrie inside the federation.
