'Ronaldo is focused and won't leave Juventus,' says Fabio Paratici

Fabio Paratici said that he believes that Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is focused on his present objectives and will not leave the club anytime soon.

Fabio Paratici said that he believes that Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is focused on his present objectives and will not leave the club anytime soon. The Sporting Director for Italian club Juventus was quoted by a news agency saying, "he is very focused on his current objectives, I do not believe in the slightest that he will leave at the end of the season or later". The Portuguese football star is on a contract with the Italian club till the year 2022 and according to Paratici, he is very happy in Juventus. "He is under contract. We are very happy with him and he is happy at Juventus," he said. Ronaldo recently achieved big after scoring his 700th goal while playing for Portugal in a Euro 2020 qualifier match against Ukraine.

Paratici rubbished rumours

Ronaldo joined the club in the year 2018 after signing a four-year contract after exiting Real Madrid. According to some media reports earlier, he was willing to leave the football club Juventus in the year 2020, if there were no improvements. The former Italian football player rubbished any such reports of Ronaldo leaving the club before 2022. The official twitter handle of Juventus posted a video of Christiano Ronaldo celebrating his completion of 700 goals in his 17-years career with a caption saying that it is not over.

The Portugal forward just scored his 700th career goal in a career spanning 17 years. He holds the title of the undisputed top scorer in the UEFA Champions League and for his country, Portugal. He's scored 127 times in the Champions League and for Portugal, he scored as many as 94. In club football, Ronaldo has scored an aggregate of 606 goals in 812 appearances for the various clubs he has played during his career. Ronaldo scored five goals in 31 games for Sporting Lisbon. He has scored 118 goals out of the 292 times he played for Manchester United, 451 goals in 438 matches for Real Madrid and as many as 32 goals in 51 matches for his present club, Juventus. Ronaldo has scored 94 goals for Portugal in 161 appearances.
