'It’s Been Challenging': Lewis Hamilton Makes Huge 'Ferrari' Admission After Poor Australian Grand Prix Qualifying

Lewis Hamilton announced in 2024 that he will be leaving Mercedes and joining Ferrari from 2025 onwards in an hunt for his 8th World Championship.

The 2025 season of Formula One is well and truly underway as the hunt for the World Driver's Championship and the Constructors Championship begins again for the ten teams and twenty drivers on the F1 grid. The first race of the 2025 season will take place in Melbourne, Australia. Lewis Hamilton who is starting his 19th season in Formula One will be starting the 2025 season with a new team- Scuderia Ferrari. As he begins his hunt for an eight World Championship, Lewis Hamilton sent a strong message post a disappointing qualification. 

Lewis Hamilton Sends Strong Message Ahead Of First Race With Ferrari 

Lewis Hamilton had a disappointing qualification in Australia ahead of the opening race of the season. Lewis Hamilton did not have the qualifying going as he would have liked as he only managed to get a P8 which means he will be starting the race tomorrow in eighth place. His teammate Charles Leclerc qualified seventh on the grid. 

Lewis Hamilton after the qualifying admitted that he is yet to extract the best out of the Ferrari car and he will be trying to get the best out of the car during the race on Sunday.

“Charles (Leclerc) has more experience of course, but I’m building confidence with the car and learning how to unlock its potential,” said Lewis Hamilton after the qualifying in Melbourne. 

Lewis Hamilton Welcomes The Predicted Rain Challenge In Melbourne 

According to weather reports there is a high possibility of rain during the Australian Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton who has an excellent track record in the rain welcomes this challenge as he will be driving his new Ferrari F1 car in the rain for the first time. He further stated that he will be it giving it his all as he looks to have a positive first race for Ferrari.

“Now we will get our heads down and try to find out how we can close the gap. Tomorrow is going to be a challenge, especially as I’ve not driven this car in the wet, but we will be giving it all we can to have a positive first race and be up there,” stated Lewis Hamilton ahead of the season opener Australian Grand Prix 2025.
