From UFC 299 let's put focus on the huge PPV i.e., UFC 300. Earlier, there were heavy speculations about UFC shaping up the event for the grand return of former two-divisional UFC Champion Conor McGregor but as things stand there is no update on that. However, there will indeed be a return of the former UFC Lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira. Oliveira will be taking on the emerging contender, Arman Tsarukyan.

Both have a point to prove

It will be the much-anticipated return of both fighters as both seemingly have a point to prove inside the 8-sided closed figure. Dustin Poirier though has a tremendous record to showcase but a win in a title fight that has remained elusive might still be in his mind. The road to redemption will be formed with a win in this fight.

As for Charles Oliveira, he was all set to take on Islam Makhachev in a Lightweight title rematch in October but an unfortunate injury forced him to withdraw from the event at the 11th hour. While the injury layoff has eaten his title shot but he could aboard the ship again, should he prevail in the fight against Arman Tsarukyan.
