NBA: San Antonio Spurs vs LA Lakers result and player ratings

Los Angeles Lakers defeated the San Antonio Spurs 103-96 in their NBA game on Monday. The match took place at the AT&T Center in Texas, USA. Anthony Davis of the Lakers was the top scorer with 25 points, 11 rebounds and two assists. While his teammate, LeBron James recorded a triple-double with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists. Avery Bradley added 16 points to the game, while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Dwight Howard finished with 14 points.

On the other hand, it was Dejounte Murray who was the Spurs' best player in the game as he scored 18 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. Rudy Gay and DeMar DeRozan scored 16 and 14 points respectively. Bryn Forbes and Derrick White added 12 points each as well.

NBA 2019-20: San Antonio Spurs vs LA Lakers match report

The game started slowly as the Lakers missed their first three shots and also had two turnovers. Spurs took advantage of it to make it a 5-0 lead. In the first half, both teams committed 13 turnovers. Spurs were four for 16 on three-pointers by the time Q2 ended and finished the game with six for 25. In Q2, Lakers outscored the Spurs 30-18. On a foul against James, Murray's three-point play and driving layup tied the game at 90-90 in Q4 with just more than four minutes remaining on the clock. However, the Lakers went on a 7-0 run after Caldwell-Pope's three-pointer and Howard's dunk. The game ended with Anthony Davis scoring the last two points.
