Bigbasket, Blinkit promise to deliver iPhone 16 in 10 minutes

iPhone 16 sale in India: Apple 's newly launched iPhone 16 went on sale in India today. Cashing-in on the trend, quick commerce companies including Tata Group's Bigbasket and Zomato -onwned Blinkit are offering to deliver the iPhone 16 in just 10 minutes. The move poses a major threat to online retailers such as Amazon and Flipkart that are offering to deliver the device in one to two days.

However, this facility isn't available in all cities across the country where Bigbasket and Blinkit offer their 10-minute delivery services. Tata Group's Bigbasket has confirmed that interested buyers will be able to purchase the newly launched iPhone 16 via Bigbasket Now, its 10-minute delivery service, in select cities, which included Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai.

Furthermore, the company has confirmed that it is selling an iPhone 16 every three minutes.

As mentioned before, Bigbasket isn't the only quick commerce company that is offering to deliver iPhone 16. Zomato -owned Blinkit is also offering 10-minute delivery for the iPhone 16. Just like Bigbasket, this service is available in select cities, which includes Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and select locations in Lucknow.

Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa has confirmed has the company has partnered with UnicornAPR for providing 10-minute delivery for the iPhone 16. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Blinkit CEO said that the quick-commerce site has already delivered 295 iPhones across cities so far. 

In addition to this, the Blinkit CEO has confirmed that the company plans to introduce 10-minute delivery for iPhone 16 Pro soon. “We're working on it. Pro models will go live in a couple of days,” he wrote in a post on X responding to a question as to why Blinkit wasn't delivering the iPhone 16 Pro models.
