Philips LED TV at INR 9999 Launched, After Detel D1 “Cheapest” LCD  

A Philips LED TV costing INR 9999 ($143) is now official, and comes straight after the launch of the most affordable television in the world the Detel D1 that costs just INR 3999 ($57). Hence, we cannot help but potentially state that the economical television segment in India is potentially set for a larger boost in the near future.

USP of Philips’ latest 22-inch INR 9999 TV is that it is built with the LED technology; not LCD as that of Detel D1.
