Abhaya Case CBI Remand Copy Claims Sandip Ghosh Downplayed Incident, Peddled Suicide Theory

Former Principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital Sandip Ghosh did not arrive at the hospital after the incident was reported to him. He further delayed filing of the FIR and downplayed the death of the trainee doctor and claimed it was suicide according to the CBI remand copy accessed by Republic TV. Over a month has passed since Abhaya's tragic demise and the calls for justice are relentless. The CBI has arrested the prime accused and Sandip Ghosh in the case. Mamata Banerjee administration's attempted cover-up of the incident has sparked further outrage and the details of the role played by the Kolkata cops is also under probe with regards to the handling of the case.
