Pro-Palestine rally in Lucknow
Amid the Israel-Palestine conflict, a demonstration was held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on October 13 after Friday prayers in Lucknow’s Asifi Masjid. They protested in support of the people of Palestine and staged the mourning of the death of Palestine people. The protesters raised the slogans ‘Down with Israel’ and ‘Down with America’.
“The bomb when falls on people, doesn’t consider the age, gender or nationality of the person. It kills millions of innocent citizens. Our Prime Minister is a powerful person of the world, he should stop this war, and hold table-talks with Israel and Palestine. The people of Palestine should be given their deserved rights and Israel should stop this war,” said Shia Muslim Cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawad. Hamas militants attacked Israel around Oct 7.
