Rachel Goldberg an Israeli mother continues to look for her son on the 16th day of war. Her son, Hersh Goldberg-Polin was abducted by Hamas on Oct 7. Her son was among the people who had joined the Nova music festival
Hersh was put on a truck and taken into Gaza according to testimonies. Her concern grew when Hersh received a critical wound. Since the Oct. 7 attack by the Palestinian militant Hamas group on southern Israel that killed over 1,400 civilians and troops, Israel’s strikes on Gaza have killed over 4,000 Palestinians. I'm very concerned because Hersh received a critical wound that I don't know if he bled out in that truck two weeks ago.I don't know if he made it.
Ηis phone was in Gaza but maybe someone said oh, wow, there's a phone here in the truck and they took it,I have no way to know. So, we feel like we're living in an alternate universe, she said.
