Manu Bhaker After Winning Asian Games Gold

Indian shooter Manu Bhaker recently clinched a gold medal with the Women's 25m Pistol Team at the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. Following their remarkable achievement, Manu Bhaker and the Indian contingent had the honor of meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Minister hosted the athletes to recognize and applaud their outstanding performances at the Asian Games 2022 and to motivate them for future competitions including the upcoming Olympics in Paris. In a pre-meeting interview with the Republic Media Network, Manu Bhaker shared her thoughts and feelings about her stellar performance at the Asian Games and the aspirations she holds for Indian athletes in the future.

"It feels really good to win the gold medal for India at the Asian Games. I am very proud," said Manu Bhaker, reflecting on her triumphant moment.

Manu Bhaker is not only elated about her own achievement but is also optimistic about the future of Indian sports, stating, "Indian athletes and the government, we really are pushing for more medals and better performances. If the government is doing such good things and the athletes are also hungry to win medals for India, definitely we will see the results. We will see even better performances in the coming days."
